At some point of time, it is crucial for me to realize two things:

i) that there is a universe out there in which we don't end up together. 
ii) it is this one.

isn't this supposed to?

And if we were together,
you'd look at the moon at midnight,
and i look at the same moon through my window.
we will be on opposite side of the ocean,
staring at the same spot in space.
No one stares at the sun, that would be dangerous.
It would hurt too much.
But if we are honest with each other,
isn't this supposed to?
